Thank You for Making Our 15th Anniversary Team Spelling Bee a Success!
On June 3, 2026, community members, businesses, organizations, volunteers, and supporters gathered at Centennial Golf Club to celebrate the 15th Anniversary of our Beloved Annual Team Spelling Bee.
The evening was filled with laughter, friendly competition, team spirit, and plenty of challenging words as 11 teams competed for the championship title while supporting mental health and substance use services throughout our community.
Congratulations to our 2026 1st Place Champions, the Patterson Rotary team, “The F—ing Bees,” and to our runners-up, the Putnam Hospital/Northwell Health team, “Putnam Hospital Stingers.” We would also like to recognize the Putnam County Department of Health team, “The Queen Bees,” recipients of the coveted Most Enthusiastic Team Award for their incredible team spirit and creativity.
A special thank you goes out to our sponsors, volunteers, emcees, judges, and participants whose generosity and enthusiasm made this milestone event possible. We are especially grateful to everyone who attended, donated, sponsored, volunteered, or cheered on the teams.
For 15 years, the Team Spelling Bee has brought our community together in support of hope, healing, recovery, and wellness. Thank you for helping us continue this beloved tradition and for supporting CoveCare Center’s mission.

Teams consist of 10 players max, elimination after 3 misspelled words.

Stay in the game with a mulligan, $25 per mulligan when purchased in advance, $30 per at the event. Max of 5 mulligans per team.
