Supporters of CoveCare Center came together to honor the local Rotary Clubs of Brewster, Carmel, Lake Mahopac and Patterson for empowering change through their dedication and support of CoveCare’s mission.
Held at Hollow Brook Golf Club on November 7th, the evening included a cocktail reception, dinner, dancing, a lively silent auction, and CoveCare’s Giving Tree, which gave guests the opportunity to see the many programs and services their donations could impact. Stacey Gibson, Chairperson of CoveCare Center’s Board of Directors, presented the esteemed Sid Gibson Imagine Award to each Rotary Club. “CoveCare was honored to present the 2024 Imagine Award to the Brewster, Carmel, Lake Mahopac, and Patterson Rotary Clubs,” said Gibson. “Their invaluable contributions to our community and to CoveCare Center are essential to our shared success. This year’s gala was met with tremendous support from sponsors and attendees, whose generosity enables us to provide vital mental health services every day. We are deeply grateful.”
In addition to the Imagine Awards presentation, guests were moved by an inspiring speech from a CoveCare client who bravely shared his journey of recovery. His dedication and commitment to treatment empowered him to reach his mental health goals, offering a testament to resilience and hope.
“Honoring these Rotary Clubs at CoveCare Center’s 2024 Imagine Gala was an easy choice,” said Eric Toth, Chief Executive Officer of CoveCare Center. “The Rotary Clubs of Patterson, Lake Mahopac, Carmel, and Brewster have contributed so much to us—financially and through their members’ time—and they do so selflessly, never asking for anything in return. Supporting the communities of Putnam County is clearly central to their mission, which aligns perfectly with CoveCare Center’s vision of a strong, united community where all people are valued, accepted, and empowered to live healthy lives. Recognizing them is simply a continuation of our daily commitment. We thank the community for joining us in celebrating the hard work of these dedicated Rotarians, as well as our remarkable team at CoveCare.”
Proceeds from the event directly support CoveCare Center’s wide range of services and the agency’s ability to continue to offer accessible and affordable care to all in need in the lower Hudson Valley.
