CoveCare Center is pleased to welcome Anita M. Minella to its Board of Directors. Ms. Minella is the most recent addition to the governing body of the Carmel-based non-profit that addresses mental health needs, substance use, and social and emotional issues.
Ms. Minella brings extensive experience and knowledge to CoveCare Center. Board Chairperson Sal Gambino stated, “We are very fortunate to have Anita joining us as a board member. Her expertise, talent, and energy will allow us to continue to uphold our mission to foster healing, recovery and wellness throughout the community.”
After 40 years of service, Ms. Minella retired as the Executive Director of the Putnam Hospital Center Foundation in 2017. Her efforts focused on fundraising, capital campaigns, community outreach, special event coordination and interior design. A resident of Putnam County since 1972, Ms. Minella has volunteered for such organizations as the American Heart Association, the Cystic Fibrosis Association, the Boy Scouts of America, the Girl Scouts of America, Autism Speaks, the March of Dimes, Project Linus, and multiple children’s reading programs. She is a member of the Putnam Hospital Center Auxiliary and a former Director of the Young Colonials Jr. Ancient Fyfe and Drum Corps. Ms. Minella is also a former owner and president of a local catering company and an interior design consulting service.
“CoveCare Center is an organization filled with integrity, skill, and compassion for others. My goals are to enhance CoveCare Center’s efforts through community outreach and to help the agency continue to meet the growing needs of our community,” stated Ms. Minella.
