CoveCare Center extends our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who joined us in honoring Byron’s Patterson Auto Body and South Putnam Animal Hospital at this year’s Imagine Gala.
Supporters from across the community came together to celebrate these two outstanding local businesses for empowering change through more than 20 years of continuous support for CoveCare Center’s mission to promote wellness, recovery, and empowerment. “IMAGINE… Local Giving that Changes Lives”
The elegant evening at Hollow Brook Golf Club featured a delicious cocktail reception, dinner, dancing, an extensive silent auction, and our signature Community Giving Tree, which beautifully showcased the impact of donor generosity on the many free unfunded programs and services that CoveCare Center offers.
Stacey Gibson, Chairperson of CoveCare Center’s Board of Directors, presented the prestigious Sid Gibson Imagine Award to Jim Byron of Byron’s Patterson Auto Body and Dr. Julie Fixman of South Putnam Animal Hospital. “CoveCare was honored to present the 2025 Imagine Award to two local businesses that have shown unwavering support for our mission and work to positively impact our friends and neighbors facing mental health and substance use challenges for more than 20 years,” said Gibson. “They get it. They know that strong citizens build strong communities, and the only way to accomplish this is through dedicated, consistent support. We are deeply grateful.”
The evening also included a heartfelt and inspiring story from a former CoveCare client and current MHA Putnam Peer (A Peer is someone who has similar lived experiences), who shared his personal journey of recovery, a true testament of the resilience, hope, and life-changing impact that accessible mental health care offers our community.
Eric Toth, Chief Executive Officer of CoveCare Center, reflected on the importance of recognizing this year’s honorees: “Honoring these local businesses at CoveCare Center’s 2025 Imagine Gala just made sense. Regardless of how their business was doing, Byron’s Patterson Auto Body and South Putnam Animal Hospital never missed a year of giving in 20 years. Supporting the communities of Putnam County is clearly central to their missions, which aligns perfectly with CoveCare Center’s vision of a strong, united community where all people are valued, accepted, and empowered to live healthy lives.”
Proceeds from the event directly support CoveCare Center’s wide range of services and ensure that we can continue to provide accessible, affordable care to all in need throughout the Lower Hudson Valley.
