Children’s Community-Based Services Coordinator/OLP Clinician

The Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Program Director with program development and the daily operation of the programs. The Coordinator will also carry a caseload within the Child & Family Treatment and Support Services (CFTSS) Program, providing in-home therapy to children and adolescents up to the age of 21 and Medicaid enrolled. Other Licensed Practitioner is a term that refers to non-physician licensed behavioral health practitioners (NP-LBPHPs). The clinical service is intended to help prevent the progression of behavioral health needs through early identification and intervention and may be provided to children/youth in need of assessment for whom behavioral health conditions have not yet been diagnosed. Services are also intended to provide treatment for children/youth with an existing diagnosis for whom flexible community-based treatment is needed to correct ameliorate conditions identified during an assessment process, such as problems in functioning or capacity for healthy relationships. Prevention Inspiring Art

Our Prevention Team works diligently in the Putnam County schools, implementing Evidence-Based Curriculums to prevent substance and alcohol use and teach social and emotional learning skills. They also inspire art from the students they work with and were touched to receive this beautiful piece from a Mahopac student as a “thank you” for what they do. “This is beyond moving to us”, commented Barbara Naccari-Mueller, CoveCare Prevention Educator. “Gestures like these motivates us to keep reaching students.”
