Putnam Family & Community Services Hosts ‘Imagine’ Dinner Dance Benefit on October 14th

Carmel, NY – Putnam Family and Community Services, Inc. (PFCS) is once again inviting community members from the Lower Hudson Valley to join them to IMAGINE…Stronger Communities through Stronger Families at their annual Dinner Dance Benefit. On Friday, October 14th from 6:30 – 10:30PM, supporters of PFCS will gather at the Salem Golf Club, North Salem, NY, to celebrate a successful year of serving individuals and families who seek recovery from mental health and alcohol/substance use issues.

“Our Benefit is a wonderful opportunity to involve the community and spread the message that recovery is always possible,” states PFCS Chief Executive Officer Diane E. Russo. Proceeds from the event will support the organization’s community-based outpatient recovery programs. For more information and to purchase tickets, please visit www.pfcsinc.org.

At the event, PFCS, the only local non-profit provider of mental health and substance use treatment and prevention services, will present its annual IMAGINE Award. This year, the organization will honor an individual for his continued contributions to the community, particularly in the field of substance use prevention and treatment, and for his ongoing efforts to support and strengthen families throughout Putnam County.

The evening will also feature a special guest speaker, who will relate her story of how PFCS helped her child and family recover from a tragic time in their lives.

The IMAGINE benefit will be highlighted by dinner, dancing and music by Tony Merando and The Crossroads Band. PFCS will also hold an exciting silent auction, including a host of valuable items: sports and entertainment tickets, jewelry, quilts, getaway vacation accommodations, and much more.
